A limited edition giclee print after Marc Chagall’s (1887-1985) Couple Above St. Paul. This image depicts an embraced couple in blue with a small horse hovering over the red skyline of St. Peter. A bouquet of flowers rests in the foreground to the left. There is a facsimile in-plate signature reading ‘Marc Chagall’ in the lower right, and the work is numbered ‘LIV/CCLXXV’, or 54 in an edition of 275, in graphite by an unknown hand in the lower left. The print is presented under glass with a white mat and gold tone liner in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with oak leaf motif. A certificate of authenticity is mounted to the verso along with a hanging wire.

Condition

- very mild discoloration to image; slight warping to ground; minor wear to frame.
