German Carved Wood Cuckoo Clock

Item Details

A German carved wood cuckoo clock. This handsome clock features highly detailed carvings of leaves, birds, and a fox surrounding the peak roofed clock house, hand painted in colors of yellow, orange, green, and dark burgundy/brown. Just below the roof peak are two doors concealing the ‘cuckoo’ figures that activate on the hour. The clock face is labeled ‘Germany’ and is set with Roman style numerals at the hour position. The pendulum has a carved leaf motif to match those surrounding the clock body and six gold tone chains hang below with three holding heavy pine cone shaped weights and the other three hanging as the reserve length on the weights.
