Antique Dresden Porcelain Lidded Urn
Item Details
An antique Dresden porcelain lidded urn. This piece features an amphora style shape with a ball finial, angular handles, and a footed pedestal. It is decorated with a hand-painted scene of perched birds and finished with gilt filigree and trim throughout. The piece bears a blue underglaze crown mark to the base, which was used by many decorators between 1883-1893.
Condition
- minor marks and faint scratches throughout consistent with gentle use; hole to base.
