An original oil painting on canvas by David McDaniel (1948-2013) titled Acting Class: The Monologue. This portrait depicts a young actor performing a monologue speech against a green background. The background is filled with green text, presumably from the spoken monologue. The work is initialed ‘McD’ in the lower right, and is signed and inscribed on the canvas verso ‘August 29, 2002 Model: James Pollard, ’Acting Class: The Monologue’, copyright 2002’. It is presented unframed.

- wearing to the edges of the canvas; some residue and discoloration to the verso.
