Item Details

A vintage handmade painted tool chest having a rectangular, hinged lid over a box with rope handled sides. The chest has a weathered black painted surface, galvanized metal latch and side strip reinforced edges. It has stenciled text in white on the top, reading in part, ‘160 Prospect St, New Heaven, Conn.’
