Antique Tressemann & Vogt Limoges Porcelain Oyster Dishes
Item Details
A set of antique porcelain oyster dishes by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges. Each of the twelve plates boasts a white floriate body molded with five scalloped wells. Gilt wispy fronds cascade across the wells and a circle of leaves accent the center. They are brushed with gilt trim to the edge, highlighting the ribbed detail to each well. Each piece bears a pair of stamps to the base indicating production between 1907-1917.
Condition
- gentle wear to gilding; minor marks and faint scratches throughout consistent with gentle use.
