A selection of three reproduction prints on paper after American illustrators Florence Kroger (1897-1980) and Maud Tousey Fangel (1881-1968). The first of these pieces is after Florence Kroger and titled Bee Careful, and it depicts a rosy-cheeked infant looking at a bumble bee as it flies by. It is signed in plate to the lower right and presented in a layered mat with plastic wrapping. The other two prints are after Maud Tousey Fangel and depict a young child with one shoe missing, asleep in a small chair with a bottle in arm, and a sleeping infant being kissed on the hand by their mother. Both are signed in plate to the lower right and presented behind glass in wood frames.
Condition
- to Fair; discoloration to images, most severe in Maud Tousey Fangel print of mother and child; accretion to glass; marks to surfaces; worn frame finishes; torn plastic on matted image.
