A hand-knotted Indian Agra carpet runner. This wool rug is rendered in a variegated palette of cream, camel, and crimson, and cocoa. It features a stylized herati field incorporating palmettes, abstracted foliate elements, flowers, and vinework over a cream-colored field. Framing the field is a single border, featuring an abstracted foliate pattern over cream. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short ivory cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
