Vintage John Holland Fountain Pens
Item Details
A pairing of two vintage fountain pens made by John Holland Pen Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, an early innovator in fountain pen filling systems. Both pens comprised of black bodies and twist off caps; simple gold tone metal cap bands and clips; lever fillers; and feature nibs marked ‘Jewel, JOHN HOLLAND, CIN, O.’ One pen is 5 1/8’ closed, marked ‘HOLLAND’ on clip, body stamped ‘JOHN HOLLAND CO’ and monogrammed ‘P J STRATMAN’. Other pen is 5 3/8’ closed, unmarked on cap, body stamped ‘JOHN HOLLAND, CINTI, O’ and monogrammed ‘JACK W. STRATMAN.’ Both pens untested.
