An antique circa 1865 treble plated Simpson Hall Miller Company figural water jug. The metal jug has a hinged lid, angled handle, and tapered bowl with etched wheat patterns. The lid and handle both feature female figurals. The jug is stamped to base ‘Simpson Hall Miller Company, Treble Plated, Patented Oc. 24.1865’.
