Carved mahogany horse head side table. This hand carved table with scooped corners on the moulded edge of the mahogany top has an apron with a carved gilt beaded edge with gilt foliate spandrels between the apron and legs; the four hand carved legs of the table each being carved at the top with a long maned horse head and a series of five C scrolls surrounding the extended chest, the cabriole legs ending on carved horse hoof feet with a gilt decoration at the fetlock. Unmarked.
