R.A. Gouache Painting of Costa Rica on a Feather
Item Details
A gouache painting of a Costa Rican landscape on a feather by an artist appearing to sign the work ‘R.A.’ This painting is rendered with shades of yellow and green and depicts a parrot on a leafy branch, a greenery-lined mountain rising up behind it. It is painted on one side of a grayish feather, with the artist’s initials to the lower left corner and ‘Costa Rica’ to the lower right. It is mounted under glass in a wooden frame with hanging hardware to its verso.

- scratches on frame; slight warping and discoloration to mat; discoloration to frame verso.
