An oil painting on canvas signed by American artist Ann Louise Snider (1899 – 1973). This painting depicts the portrait of a seated man with one hand placed on the base of a footed teapot and the other hand in his lap placed over a yellow sash. It is hand signed by the artist as ‘Snider’ to the lower left corner and in verso. The piece is presented framed with a wire in verso for hanging.

- scratching and wear to the frame; discoloration and wear to the verso.
