A Victorian cast iron fireback. This rectangular piece boasts a central motif of a plant in an urn. It is surrounded by pierced geometric motifs and framed by a border of solid metal. It is marked with embossed numerals to the verso.

- significant oxidation throughout; crack across width of piece below base of depicted vessel; some pitting and flaking of metal.
