A circa 1866 sterling silver christening mug hallmarked to have been made in Sheffield, England in 1866 by Martin, Hall & Co.. The tankard style mug has an elaborately embossed arabesque pattern with round cartouches at the top with beaded rims and a mask at the handle. The mug is presented in the original fitted leather case with a peacock blue satin lining. The weight of the mug is 8.995 ozt.

- the sterling silver mug is in very good condition with no monograms
- the leather case needs to be repaired at the hinges
