"Editions d'Art de Rambouillet" Reproduction Tapestry

A reproduction printed tapestry produced by Editions d’Art de Rambouillet in France. Titled Le Depart pour la Chasse, the tapestry features a depiction of mounted noblemen releasing birds of prey in preparation for a hunt. Crenellated buildings and lush vegetation appear in the background. The images are based on a 16th century original in the Musee de Cluny in Paris. The tapestry is printed on fabric with light-fast colors and is backed with brown fabric. A label is attached to the reverse.
