Towle "Lady Mary" Sterling Silver Spoon and Saart Bros. Sterling Silver Server
Item Details
A set of two pieces of sterling silver flatware. This includes a Towle spoon in the Lady Mary pattern. The pattern was designed by Harold E. Nock and was in production from 1917 until being discontinued in 1996. The piece features a flared coffin handle with reeded edges and scrolled accents on the canted corners. It is presented with a Saart Bros. tomato server in the Hermitage pattern that was first introduced in 1910. The server features a reeded and flared handle with a plume accent at the terminal and pointed shoulders. The back is marked ‘SSMC Sterling.’ The total approximate weight is 2.310 ozt.
