Hinged Silver Plate Passe-Thé Strainer
Item Details
A silver plate passe-thé dish. The hinged tea strainer has a long, flared handle with reeded edging and ribbing on the strainer and the well. The well has a triangular cut in the rim for pouring and the piece is marked with two stars above ‘Mars’ as well as with ‘5GR.’
Condition
- some minor surface wear with faint markings and some tarnishing and discoloration.
