Vintage "Peerless" Mantel Clock by Matthias Bauerle, Circa Early 20th Century

A vintage Peerless mantel clock by Matthias Bauerle, circa early 20th century. The mahogany case features a rounded top above a conforming, glazed door with beveled edges and a brass tone liner before a silver tone dial. The dial has a chime indicator over a chapter ring with black, Roman numeral markers. Opening the rear door reveals a brass movement stamped ‘Peerless’ with ‘MB’ monogram and ‘Made in Germany / 1 Million / 234455 U / 11’. Also included is a pendulum and a key.

Condition

- to fair; clock not tested; some minor surface wear to case; back feet are detached, one of which is included; dial missing three screws.
