Antique Mercury Glass Curtain Tieback Pins, Circa Third Quarter 19th Century
Item Details
A group of two mercury glass curtain tieback pins, circa third quarter of the 19th century. The knob-form pins feature round faces engraved with foliate motifs and stylized borders. Each retains its original pewter shank cap and screw.
Condition
- not a matched pair; minor/expected surface wear to both; smaller example with paint residue on pewter shank cap; larger pin with a couple dot-size losses to interior coating.
