An 800 silver serving spoon by Friedrich Feuerstein of Hanau, Germany. The spoon features an oval bowl with rounded shoulders and a broad fiddle handle with an applied coat of arms for the city of Gdańsk, Poland to the center. An engraving to the back of the handle reads ‘Bürger schützen Korps au Danzig 14.7.1930’. The spoon is marked to the underside of the handle stem with the crescent and crown, 800, the maker’s mark for Friedrich Feuerstein and the retailer’s mark for M. Stumpf & Sohn. The total approximate weight it 3.055 ozt.
