An acrylic painting on paper of a pear by artist Jacqueline Saporiti. This painting depicts a large, stylized pear against a mottled background rendered in a palette of yellow and brown hues. It is initialed by hand to the lower left corner. The painting is matted in white and presented behind glass in a black composite frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso.
Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
