Jacqueline Saporiti Oil and Acrylic Paintings
Item Details
A pair of paintings by Vietnamese-born artist Jacqueline Saporiti. These pieces include an acrylic painting of a bulb-like shape on paper and a colorful oil painting on canvas of a woman’s head. Both pieces are signed with the artist’s ‘J.S.’ monogram to their lower edges, the oil painting also including a signature and illegible title to its verso. The painting on paper is mounted behind glass in a black frame and neither piece includes hanging hardware.
Born in Vietnam and raised in the French culture, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
