An acrylic painting on canvas titled Red Roof in the Moonlight by artist Jacqueline Saporiti. This painting depicts white buildings with red roofs, nestled among rolling hills and tall trees. It is initialed by hand to the lower right corner, matted in black, and presented in a gold tone wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a label specifying the title and artist.
Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
