Jacqueline Saporiti Acrylic Painting on Panel of Roses

An acrylic painting on panel by Vietnamese-born artist Jacqueline Saporiti. This piece depicts a bouquet of deep red roses in a white square-shaped vase. The paint has been applied in varying thicknesses, with the flowers and vase appearing to have been dabbed on using a rag or sponge. The piece is initialed to the lower right corner and presented behind a white mat and glass in a brushed gold tone frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
