An acrylic painting on paper of a pear by Jacqueline Saporiti. This work depicts a single pear resting on a background of golden yellow. The piece is initialed ‘JS’ to the lower left. It is presented behind a white mat, behind glass, in a black tone composite frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
