An acrylic painting on canvas by Vietnamese-born artist Jacqueline Saporiti. This piece depicts a cluster of abstracted flowers blooming on a teal ground .The flowers are rendered in bursts of white, gray, and light blue, and clusters of indigo, violet, and yellow. It is signed and titled illegibly to the lower right on the verso, and presented as an unframed, stretched canvas.
Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
