This minimalist scene depicts five hazy grey shapes breaking up a light blue background, reminiscent of stones in a river or rain clouds in a blue sky. The work is initialed ‘JS’ in the lower left corner, and signed by hand on the verso. It is presented unframed.

Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
