An antique thermoplastic Union photograph case and ambrotype photographs. The double-sided case depicts a Christmas morning scene with children, toys, and a pair of fir trees to one side while the other shows a mother and daughter seated together holding their cat and dog. The ambrotype photographs, which depict mid 19th-century individuals, are framed to the interior by embossed brass or copper borders.
