A hand-knotted Persian Kashan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, ivory, sky blue, olive, and gold. The cranberry colored field features a diamond pendant medallion along with coordinating spandrels, surrounded by scrolling floral and foliate motifs. Framing the field is a main herati patterned border with carnation meander guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
