Early 20th Century Heintz Sterling Overlay and Bronze "Cattail" Vase

Item Details

An early 20th century sterling on bronze vase by the Otto Heintz Art Metal Shop (active from 1875 until February 11, 1930). This bronze vase has a cylindrical form with a flared lip and features a sterling silver overlay on the front depicting cattails and grass. The underside is stamped with the Heintz Art Metal Shop maker’s mark and ’3581 E Sterling on Bronze Patent Aug.27.12”.
