Vintage Handcrafted Cochiti Pueblo Style Log Drum

Item Details

A vintage Cochiti Pueblo style log drum, circa 1940s. This double-sided drum is constructed of a hand-worked hollow log with animal hide heads and tendon straps. The shell has been painted in golden yellow, red, and blue matte paint.

Condition

- to Good; drum head on one side has a hole, wear to edges and head, and loss of paint to shell.
