1930s Charles "Red Ruffing" Giants Framed Wheaties Panel
Item Details
An original 1930s Charles ‘Red’ Ruffing Wheaties card. General Mills placed these cardboard colorful illustrated cards on the backsides of their cereal products in the 1930s. This card was hand cut and depicts Red in a pitching pose. On the card, there is a replica signature of Red with the teaching headline ‘Pitching The Fast Ball.’ The card is housed in a frame with glass. EBTH did not remove the card from the frame to inspect its condition. A member of the National Baseball Hall Of Fame, Red was a dominating pitcher for the New York Giants. He was a six-time All-Star.
Condition
Uneven borders with edge and surface age wear. Soiling with bold and vivid colors. This card was hand-cut off a cereal box. Did not remove the card from the frame.

The measurements reflect the size of the card in its frame. The card measures approximately 6" wide by 8" tall.
