An embossed offset lithograph on paper titled Kentucky Derby Festival 1996 by Kentucky artist Karen Boone. This work was created for the Kentucky Derby Festival in 1996 and depicts an abstract winged horse rendered in rainbow colors with text printed to the top and bottom of the print. The piece is signed in plate near the horse’s front hooves and signed by hand in graphite to the lower right margin. It is presented behind a black decorative mat, behind acrylic glass, in a metal frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
