An oil painting on academy board of a mountain landscape by listed American artist Heinie Hartwig (b. 1937). This painting depicts a landscape of snow-covered mountain peaks above a river with a solitary Native American figure camped on the banks of the stream beside a tepee in the foreground. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower left. It is presented in an ornate gold tone frame with a textile liner and a hanging wire to the verso.
