Item Details

An antique Meissen porcelain World War One Prussian vase. This vase features a tapered shape and a slightly graduated circular base. It is adorned with the Star of the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross with an imperial crown, a “W” in the center and the year 1914 at the bottom. It has gold tone starburst detailing, green leaves and gold trim and the years 1914-1918 in gold. The bottom is marked with the blue underglaze Meissen double crossed swords to the underside.
