Vintage William and Mary Style Walnut China Cabinet
Item Details
An vintage William and Mary style walnut china cabinet having a curved pediment with scrolled-floral brackets at the corners over a compliant cabinet door with double arched glass panels. The glass panels are divided by fluted rails and embellished with decorative, scrolled wood attached to inside glass. The doors are flanked by two rectangular, veneered parquet panels and they open to two shelves. The lower case is fitted with a long, shallow drawer with machine-cut dovetail joints, decorative circular floral carving, and brass knobs over a pair of cabinet doors. The doors have recessed burled walnut veneered panels and brass drop pulls flanked by turned pilasters. The piece stands on vase-turned balusters attached to a shelf with a curved front edge and terminating on bun feet.
