Blue "Iris" Roseville Vase

A Roseville Pottery vase. This Roseville Pottery vase is embellished with a matte blue glaze and a pale yellow iris in relief. Introduced in 1939, Roseville Iris is considered a late period production line. This vase has a wide mouth and neck, double handles, a squatted bowl that is wider than the neck and a circular pedestal base. As found with many items from the late production period, the mold lines have softened resulting to a very faint die-impressed Roseville script mark to the underside of the vase.
