Circa 1937 Russel Wright American Modern black chutney dishware by Steubenville . Includes four lug soup/fruit bowls and one round platter. The glaze is a warm brown to center with a lighter brown hue around edge. Russel Wright made affordable dinnerware and this line became the most popular china ever sold. Maker’s mark to underside.
Condition
One bowl has a small chip to edge, other wear consistent with age.
