An antique Victorian needlepoint parlor chair. This arm chair features a carved acanthus and floral crest with scroll curved rails, nailhead trim, and a maroon needlepoint upholstery with a vignette of a young woman gathering flowers surrounded by scrolled leaves and blossoms. The seat has matching flowers and leaves and a serpentine rail on stylized cabriole front legs.
