A Connecticut style maple bed. The Federal style four poster has the design elements associated with Connecticut furniture from the 1840’s period with acorn finials atop the carved and turned maple posts. Featured is a simple shaped headboard. The bed has an oil rubbed finish which is consistent with the original pieces of this style.
