Gorham "Old French" and Other Sterling Silver Spoons

A thirteen-piece collection of sterling silver spoons. This includes a set of six spoons by Gorham in the William C. Codman designed Old French pattern, first introduced in 1904, marked to the backs with the three pseudo hallmarks of a lion, an anchor, and a Gothic ‘G’ alongside ‘Pat 1904’ and ‘Sterling’. They are presented with a spoon by International Silver Co. in the John W. Elliot designed Devonship pattern and a set of six spoons by Lunt in the George C. Lunt designed Mount Vernon pattern. All are marked to the backs for silver fineness. The total approximate weight is 8.135 ozt.

- minor to mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing, notably on International Silver Co. spoon.
