A pair of sterling silver candelabra designed by Alphonse La Paglia for Durham Silver Co. of New York, NY, circa 1950. The mid-century candelabra feature long trumpet shaped sconces with spherical detailing to the base and two organic vine like arms with a scrolled flower bud to the center and applied ball and vine accents to the base of a round foot. The candelabra are marked to the underside ‘Sterling’ and with the maker’s mark for Durham Silver Co. The total approximate weight is 30.110 ozt.
