Wallace "Sir Christopher" Sterling Silver Flatware Set

A set of sterling silver flatware by Wallace. This is in the William S. Warren designed Sir Christopher pattern, first introduced in 1936, which features an ornate handle with acanthus leaf, flower, and scrolled motifs. The sixty-six piece set includes eight butter spreaders, eight cocktail forks, eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, six soup spoons, seventeen teaspoons, and a ladle, all marked to the backs ‘Wallace Sterling’. They are presented with nine dinner knives and a pie server with hollow handles. The set comes in a wooden flatware chest with burgundy felt-like interior lining. The total approximate weight, excluding dinner knives and pie server with hollow handles, is 67.235 ozt.

- minor surface wear including marks, scratches, and minimal tarnishing; flatware case has surface wear and scratches to the exterior.
