A lithograph on paper titled Chairs after an engraving by Mattew Darly (fl. 1741-1778) for Thomas Chippendale’s The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker’s Director. It depicts three chairs in the Chippendale style with no armrests and open, carved backs. IT is titled to the upper center and has the artists’ names printed to the lower corners. This print is presented behind a burgundy mat with gold tone fillet and glass in a gold tone wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- mild discoloration to image; moderate wear to frame.
