An offset lithograph on paper after well-listed Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939), titled Bieres de la Meuse. This advertising piece depicts a woman with poppies in her hair holding a mug of beer and incorporates images by other artists to the bottom of the piece with a black and white aerial view of the brewery and an inset image of the goddess of the Meuse River. There are also inscriptions in French to the lower portion of the work. It is presented behind glass in a black tone wooden frame with a sawtooth hanging bracket to the verso.

Condition

- mild discoloration to images; moderate wear to frame.
