A selection of mixed media reverse glass paintings of landscapes with butterfly wings. These four works, two of which depict Rio while one depicts Panama, feature coastal scenes of lush vegetation and lodges, which are rendered with collaged, mother of pearl tinted butterfly wings reinforced by painted glass. To the lower corners of these three compositions are painted inscriptions labeling the scenes. They are presented in wooden frames, some of which beneath matting, with hanging hardware to the verso.

Condition

- abrasions to paint to underside of glass with minor lifting to some items; discoloration to underside of glass of smaller items; nicks and scratches to all frames particularly largest frame; one small frame missing folding stand; dust and residue accretion to corners of frame.
