Louis Cardin Enamel Painting on Copper "Les Enfants Avec le Bateau"
Item Details
A limited edition enamel painting on copper titled Les Enfants Avec le Bateau by French artist Louis Cardin (b. 1937). This painting depicts a pair of dark haired children playing with a toy boat in a pond lined with trees and flowers. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right and numbered 91 in an edition of 500 to the lower left. It also includes a certificate of authenticity from Calhoun’s Collectors Society. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with a textile liner and a hanging bracket to the verso.
Condition
- scratching and wear to the paint on the frame; minor tearing to the verso.
