An oil painting on canvas of a portrait signed by an artist with the name R. L. Anderson. This well-rendered painting depicts an elderly woman posed in frontal portraiture, who is adorned with a foliate top, beaded pearl necklace and curled, white hair against an earth tone background. She assuredly looks forward with a slight smile on her face. To the lower left corner of the composition is a painted signature, dated 1973. The painting is presented in a distressed wooden frame featuring gouged patterning with hanging wire to the verso.
