A hand-colored etching after artist Allen C. Sealy, titled With the Blue and Buff. This print on paper, which is after Sealy’s original painting, depicts a large group of aristocratic hunters in colored jackets galloping over dry shrubbery, following a pack of beagles. This familiar composition is known as Full Cry. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in-plate signature, dated 1888, which is complemented to the margins by an inscription denoting title and artist credit. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a mottled wooden frame.
